AHA Big Brew was May 7th and was a huge success. Thanks to all of those that came out to brew, especially John, Nate, and Cesar for taking the lead organizing. A special thanks to Superior Ag on North St Joe and the Posey County Co-op in Mt. Vernon for hosting us (and all that they do for our club).
I will continue to remind you that Indiana Brewers Cup is fast approaching. Note that entries are due before the next club meeting. Important dates are listed below
5/31 – 6/24: Early Registration
6/11 – 6/24: Entry Delivery @ Sun King
7/8 – 7/9: Judging
7/9: Reception & Awards
We will be organizing a club delivery trip to Indy. Entries can be dropped off at Carson’s before the club delivery trip (which may be the weekend before).
The Zoo Brew is June 4th. Beer and serving signups are on the message board or with Sky at Wednesday’s meeting.
We will be holding the SMaSH tasting at the July meeting with a nifty t-shirt for all of those that contribute a SMaSH brew. Signups will be at May’s meeting.
We have great tech topic planned for the May meeting. Jeremy Dunn will be speaking about yeast freezing and storage.
Please continue to bring those canned goods to every meeting.
