Courier and Press Westside Edition Article

Post by Dwayne_Delaney » Fri May 09, 2008 11:01 pm

What a great article on the club and on our hobby. Many thanks to the author, Pete Burzynski. Special thanks to Jim Weikel for making the arrangements and for the demo brew.

I didn't realize that it was going to be a feature article(4 pages) with lots of nice full color photos including a big cover photo of Jim Dipple standing next to his brew sculpture. I picked up 10 extra copies and I will bring them to this month's meeting. I predict some new members. :beer2

One of my co-workers brought over several copies yesterday. Absolutely outstanding! I was also shocked and pleased on the to full spreads and cover! I'll grab some extra copies at work as well to distribute. We usually get a big stack in the news office.

My thanks also go to Jim for pulling this together and to Pete for the great coverage.

Save me a copy to read
I'm in Virginia Beach (freezing my tail off)
Wife thought this would be a good time to go to the beach..
Wind blowing 30 mph...
No girls on the beach to look at...
Torandos ...
If thats not bad enough
Transmission went out on van (second time in 115k) $3,200 for replacement..
Rental SUV $500 /week..
Spending a week inside the condo with inlaws, they don't want to go anywhere it's too cold..

I have found some different craft beers (plan on trying them all)..
Fresh Oysters & bluepoint crabs(planing on eating them all)..
No work for a couple of weeks...
Some quality time with family...

Good thing I brought my Mastercard!

I have an Old Ale at home in the fermemter that needs to be moved to secondary, and an ESB on the counter that can be kegged. Anyone got any spare time?

We should have plenty of copies. I have about 25 and I think Dwayne has around 10 or so.
