I transfered the Doppelbock to keg yesterday. It hit the target finishing gravity of 1.020 but it sure doesn't taste that sweet! I think this is going to be a good one. I've got some cooler space now, but when it's time to brew again I'll be bringing it down to Turoni's also as my cooler is my ferment chamber...just not enough space...

Big Brew beer update.......

Transferred the AG Belgian to the secondary. I'm not sure what the gravity is since I broke my hydrometer. The sample that I tasted was pretty good. It has that Belgian "funk" with a definite alcohol warmth and actually tastes more bitter than the Griffin Spit extract.

The Bock will finally go into a secondary this week. I'm going to reculture the yeast for use in a Vienna and maybe another Bock, got the fridge, might as well use it, eh?
