Having an Imperial Pilsner Brau at Gordon Biersch in Vegas. Getting ready to follow it up with their Festbier. No Heisler sightings yet. Note...they honor AHA membership cards.

Update: just heard from Don...he's alive and well and bleeding the Golden Nugget dry!

One of the best parts is its $3.95 for 23ozs.

I picked up some Boulevard 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat. It's not Gumballhead, but it's not bad.

Picked up some Sierra Nevada "Celebration." Real tasty! It's 6.8% so it'll warm ya up quick!

A couple of Kaliks with my cracked lobster salad on Litte Exuma in the Bahamas at the outlaw house. Pretty good lager but alas no Belgians here!

Having the sampler at the 777 Brewery in Vegas. Good beer to ease the pain from my wife's gambling losses. But all's good...

Their porter is one of my favorites. Pours like a stout.
Their $7.99 steak dinner is top on my list also.

My father in-law gave me a 40 year old fall city box with the returnables. It had one full. Who wants to drink it? :beer5

I picked up some more canned craft beer for a campout this weekend that I'm not going to. But I still get to drink the beer. I got some more from Sixpoint. They few I got for the last campout were good. The Brownstone is excellent! There might be something to this canned beer thing. I also got a little can of their double IPA that I've not cracked yet.

I'm set for the Holidays. 2008 vintage. The Rarest Ale in Britain (so it says on the carton) Thanks to John D. I got me a 4 pack 11.7%, each bottle individually numbered.

Beer devotees have hailed the ale as one of the world’s best but English brewery O’Hanlon has had to plug the keg citing the time and money it took to produce the liquid gold made it a necessary decision. The packaging itself is time consuming as each bottle is individually numbered, is topped with gold foil and has a hand-hung gold medallion.

Thomas Hardy’s Ale was created 41 years ago by brewer Eldridge Pope as a tribute to the author.
They say you can bottle condition this beer for 25 years (no way that would last at my house).

Started a 3 week vacation today...
Can you tell

If you didn't spend enough on xmas beers and westys, Winetree East has Scaldis Premiums, aged in wine barrels for just over 40. Their in a beautiful 750 bottle. I'm so weak.

Over the holiday a co-worker was kind enough to give me a growler of Bourbon Porter from Ferguson Brewing Company in Ferguson, MO near St. Louis. It was incredible, like drinking a milk shake! Their assistant brewer, Josh Wilson, an avid homebrewer himself, was kind enough to send me the recipe. You should check out the story behind the brewery at www.fergusonbrewing.com/our-story.
