Hop warehouse fire in Yakima.

A Steiner warehouse appears to be a total loss due to a fire. About 2 million pounds (10,000 bales, 3-4% of total U.S. crop) worth about $4-5 million was destroyed. Fire is under investigation, but likely spontaneous combustion may have been the cause. Appears that most of the hops that were lost were high alpha varieties.
