Coming home from work today, I was heading south on the south ramp of the Henderson bridge in the left lane. I saw something flying from my right straight for my windshield. I braked hard and came within maybe a foot of hitting a huge bald eagle. I have never seen any in this area before; quite a surprise.

If you take that road right before Audubon and head down a little ways, there is a eagle nest down there.
