Christ the King Winterfest

Post by n_ferrell » Mon Nov 21, 2016 9:05 am

Christ the King's Winterfest will be January 14th, 2017. The event runs from 6:30 to 10:30. Last year was the first year we participated in this event. It was a pretty good time (minus the blizzard that occurred during tear down). We are looking for servers for OVHA and beer donations. Please sign up below! let me know if you have any questions.

I currently have a Christmas ale that I may still have available to lend. If it's not available, I'll definitely have something to bring. I do have a bitter brown ale still that I haven't brewed so that will likely be my contribution. I'd love to serve, tear down, set up as well if there is a spot available.

Cedar and I can serve. We have a sitter. ;) or if you have enough, we will just buy tickets and drink.

Who is 'Cedar?' He sounds sweet.

I will have my remaining Christmas ale and 3.5 gallons of my ESB (ESB is fresh-I bottled some which took away 1.5 gallons).

Prost!

Alli and I can set up and serve if help is still needed. I found some bottles that I can donate. Our shift can't end any later than 9 though. Let me know!

I have a tentative schedule for Winterfest. Please let me know if there are any issues so that I can make necessary adjustments. I have everyone split into 1 hour shifts:

6:30 to 7:30--Sky and Josh W.
7:30 to 8:30--Jordan and Amanda
8:30 to 9:30--Cesar and Amelia
9:30 to 10:30--Jenny and Steve.

For Beer Donations , I have:
Sky--Mint Chocolate Stout
Jordan--Red RyePA
Cesar--Spiced Chrismas Cider (OVHA beer of the night), OVHA sour stout
Steve--Christmas Ale and ESB
Josh W.--Bottles of beer
Nate--SMaSH beers-- possibly 2 kegs

For setup and Teardown, I have:
Jenny and Nate Ferrell
Josh Wuertz and Allison
Steve Strait
Sky and Abby
Dan Mills

I think we could rally at Turoni's about 4pm to collect or stuff. That gives us 2 hours to make sure that everything goes off without issues. If you thing this is too much time, lets me know and we can adjust that as well. Thanks to everyone that decided to donate beer and time. See you all on the 14th !!

Abby has a friend coming in from out of town so she has opted to buy a ticket and attend instead. Can you remove her from the server schedule please?

thank you
Sky B.
