Suggestion for trial run on new canoe

Post by john mills » Fri Jul 02, 2010 1:03 pm

I just got a 3 seat canoe given to me. Ira plastic and has been in storage for 6-8 years. Where would a good starter place be to try it out? I was thinking Pigeon Creek is close.
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!

Any of the above. Let me know where and I'll try to join you. I've never been down the Pigeon. Bluegrass Pit, Parking Lot 1, is very accessible for kayaks and canoes and is never crowded.
