Jack,
If it is not too late to order, I would lie a 25 kg bag of Marris Otter and a 25 kg bag of Munich Malt.

Jimmy,
I'll go in with you on the bag of Munich. I really don't need that much, but maybe somebody else would like in on it. If not...I haven't ever thrown out grain. I'll use it sometime. Maybe even make an entire malty Munich Helles!
You gonna buy one, or be one?

Jack - any idea on the prices for the 2-row, pilsner and wheat?

Thanks!
For everyone I haven't met, I used to live in Evansville and was a member of OVHA. After moving home to Jasper, and missing having good friends to brew with, I decided to try to start my own club. I am happy to say that I have been the president of the Dubois County Suds Club since 2006 (although I still miss my OVHA buddies)!

Last order the domestic grain was $35.00 for 50 pounds. Imports were were $40.00 or higher for 55 pounds. I expect prices will be about the same.

Ordered Monday. Should be in next Wednesday. I can bring some to the meeting if it arrives on time. The shipper we have been using recently went out of business.

John and Jack, if it's not any trouble, can you bring grains to the meeting? If it is, I can try and get by to get them. Thanks much!

Hay,I picked up 50lbs. of grain at the big brew event, opened it and used some.I think it hed a yellow tag on it say what it was but I probably threw that away  .Now I can't remember what it is.I think you said it was American Pale, but it Might have been 2-Row Pale. How do I know what it is?I don't have anything to compare it to and I wouldn't know it from shinola unless it's labeled,or someone told me.Can you help? :D

Unless you distinctly remember ordering Pilsner, it's probably 2-Row Pale Malt. Unless you're super-interested in the particular lot characteristics, etc. you're safe in assuming that this malt is fine for beers that call for 'Pale Malt' or '2-Row' or 'Pale Ale Malt' or anything along those lines.
