Post by Davin » Tue Jan 22, 2008 7:43 am

For those who do not get the emails from them....

SPECIAL! USED KEG 4 PACKS! $79.99
---------------------------------
We've filled our new warehouse with several truckloads of used 5
gallon soda kegs, and now we need to move them! So we're offering a
great price when you get four at a time! Help us make some room and
expand your homebrewery's capacity on the cheap! Limited time offer,
When combined with our BrewSaver Ground flat rate shipping of $7.99
per order, that's just $21.99 per keg delivered! You save about $60.00!

It ends up $87.98 after shipping. Heck of a deal for 4 used kegs. I belive the next meeting is going to be on Kegging so its a good time to get them, just to bad I've got to be out of town when that meeting happens. Anyone want to volunteer to take notes for me?

Do you have to do anything to get these in good order?

I have 2 kegs coming but could use more. Thanks

Just go to that link and use the second option. I ordered some myself this morning for a system I'm planning to build sometime this year.

These are not "reconditioned" kegs so they will need a good cleaning and replacement of all rubber parts. I'll be posting the new Keg 101 Handout in the next few days for those who can't attend the meeting.

Mine came in yesterday. Gotta love two day shipping for $7.99.

:D

All were in good shape and holding pressure. Of course they all need a good cleaning and replacement seals, they obviously had soda of one form or another in them before. Now just to get the rest of the stuff together to actually use them.

Randy and I split two each ... they seem to be in decent shape and holding pressure. 7.99 shipping for four kegs and 15 pounds of specialty grains is a beautiful thing.
