Cost for all-grain?

Post by mikeroth » Wed Nov 12, 2014 6:34 am

I'm thinking of starting to brew all-grain and wondered how much club members paid for a 50-lb. bag of grain at the club price last fall?

You can look through the old grain order posts in this forum and see what the past prices have been.

I think the price generally fluctuates but for 50lbs of 2-row. I think in the past I have paid around $35-$45 a bag roughly. On Northern Brewers website a bag of Briess 2-row is 34.99 but shipping is $27.06

Remember there is a markup fee for grain through Jack that helps fund club expenses. I hope I have said this accurately from a club accounting standpoint. I just wanted you to know that you are supporting the club and getting a good deal.

And you have to be a paid member to be able to order grain.
