FS: Two-Tier Brew Sculpture with 2 burners and 2 keggles

Post by Chris Norrick » Fri Oct 24, 2014 7:13 pm

I'm finally selling off my scratch-built brew sculpture. This one happens to be bolted together. It has low profile metal casters. The whole rig sits low by design for us hight-challenged folks.

It has two burners, one is a small banjo type and the other is a jet. They are feed off one regulator and have independent controls. The propane tank sits under the HLT.

The HLT keggle has a sight glass, large dial thermometer and brass valve. The pickup tube is two 90 degree street elbows screwed together.

The other keggle is actually my mash tun and has a SS professional false bottom plus a rotating gravity fed rotating sparge arm. Includes large dial thermometer and SS valve. It could easily be used as a boil kettle if you already have a cooler mash tun.

It is wired for a pump with a switch and pig-tail and currently has a March 809 on it. I will likely keep the pump unless you really want it. It is plumed for McMaster Carr QDs. It probably needs oiled and minor maintenance. I did remove and clean the head unit not too long ago. Like I said, I'll likely keep it but leave the wiring and switch in place.

Here is my build thread from 2007 but most of the photos don't work since we migrated forum software.http://www.ovha.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=220

Make an offer via PM. Be sure to tell me if it includes the pump or not.

I've decided to keep it.
