Looking for an extra long pipette

Post by SkyBrew » Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:01 am

Im looking for an extra long pipette (like 18 inches long or more maybe) for taking a couple drops out of a carboy in order to do a gravity reading with a refractometer. A lot of bad reviews on the beer thieves, I have used a few drinking straws taped together in the past but it doesn't work very well. It looks like pipettes come in bundles so does anyone have any to spare, know where I can get some, or have any suggestions?

All I could find was a 50ml volumetric. If I can find something to put it in I'll bring it. They are extremely fragile.

Thanks for looking, I found a 10ml pyrex pippette that I believe will suit my purpose while doing a grain order on northern brewer today
