15 Gallon Kettle/Keggle

Post by BREWsmith » Fri Apr 13, 2012 8:00 pm

I'm thinking about upping my boil capacity by ordering either a 15 gallon SS brew kettle or a 15.5 gallon Keggle. Before I order something on-line, does anyone have one to sell? Thanks.

I have a 15 gallon polerware with built in valve, brewmometer, lid and false bottom. You can come by to see it if it fancies you.

I offered Jimmy brewing tips in exchange for his 15 gallon SS mash tun, but he demanded cash instead (I wonder if I should read anything into that). Anyway, I own a new mash tun...thanks Jimmy! I also ended up ordering a 15 gallon boil kettle from the web site below. The price was right, the quality remains to be seen. I'll post a review after it's been received and used.

Hey Jeff... what do you think about the spike boil kettle? I have looked at those as well. Is the 19 gauge stainless heavy enough?

I'm satisfied with it. It's a bit thinner than my polarware mash tun, but it seems sturdy enough. I bought the one with two vertical couplers, one for the valve and the other for a sightglass/thermometer combo.
