How else would we know who needs DME? I plan to do all 17# in BIAB. When time to remove grains, I will use a colander to remove 5 to 7# first, then take the bag out.

Guys, I will be bringing my BIAB hoist, so no need to make alternate plans to accommodate for the large grain bill. 150 lb capacity, so no issues there.

Does it have the Delaney "Grain Crane 9000" seal of approval?

Haha! It was definatly inspired by the DeLaney model. I made some needed mods to it lastnight, and did a few chin-ups on it as a load test. Has wheels too!

Check off the Knob Creek Bourbon. I have it in my supplies. Nearly full bottle.

And I brought plastic taster glasses! And twinkles; half normal, half chocolate covered.

I got called into work today so I will not be able to brew. Sorry about the last minute notice but that opens up a spot if anyone else wants it

No worries Jordan. We miss having you here. We will have enough wort. Here's what you're missing.

Jordan, your kit is still ready to brew. Interested? We are looking for some non-barrel aged Quad for comparison. Dwayne and Josh got some of the extra wort from today. Would be cool to see a third example.

The yeast was definitely ready for the ~4 gallons I took back!

The Quad is fermenting nicely. I was a bit concerned yesterday afternoon due to a lock of bubbles from the blow off. But, after adjusting the seal on the lid, CO2 activity was quickly apparent!

As is typical with these group brews, a few pieces of equipment were left behind: two Home Depot buckets, a few smaller containers, a very nice temperature monitor, and a brown discharge hose (Michael J?).

It was great hosting the event!

The Quad is still chugging away beautifully. It was probably good that we only put a bit over 60 gallons into the fermenter as I've changed the blow-off sanitizer twice. I'll be a the brewery tonight around 6:30pm in case anyone wants to stop by to claim leftover equipment.
