Learn to Homebrew Day: Nov 7, 2015, 9 a.m. @ Boonville

Post by Jam095 » Wed Oct 14, 2015 2:01 pm

We will be brewing at Tieman Chiropractic, 202 S. Fourth St. in Boonville (corner of 4th and Locust) this year. This location is right on the main drag through town, and would be hard to miss by anyone driving by. I will be there by 8:30, and ready to fire up by 9:00 am. Come on out whenever your able.

I will be bringing my Crank n Stein 3 roll mill with drill, if your grain needs crushed. I will have RV hoses, charcoal filter, and extension cord (and anything else we may need).

Dr. Tieman said he would also make his restroom available to brewers for the day. I will also be grilling burgers until they run out, since this will be getting into lunch time. I promised Dr. Tieman some good samples, so bring a bottle if you would like. I will be bringing an Upland Sour from 2013, along with some homebrews to earn our keep. 8) I will present all of this at the meeting next week, but if you have any questions feel free to message or call me (812) 217-2552.

I like that idea. We have a board meeting Wednesday and I will give you an answer after. Thanks!

Thanks Dwayne! I will be calling on Monday to get the blessing of the business owner to brew in his parking lot (tentativly). He is a beer lover, so I'm sure he won't mind. Would be a great spot near the town square!

Update- I got the blessing for the location I was hoping for. Tieman Chiropractic at 202 S 4th St. in the heart of Boonville. There is a spicket available for our use.

Dwayne- let me know if everyone is ok with this, and I will provide more details.

John, everything is a go. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask.
Can you discuss it at the meeting next week with the group?

Thanks again!!

I forgot to mention at the meeting (still dialing in on my public speaking skills...lol), please park across locust street in vacant parking lot. And just a reminder for those who don't frequent Boonville, it is only 20-25 min. east of Hwy. 41, so no excuses!!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to Boonville for LTHD! A good time was had by all. I believe we had seven (7) Brewers a brewing, and a few spectators. A big thanks to Dr. Tieman for letting us host this event in his parking lot. He has already welcomed us back for future events.
