pH meter storage

Post by Blancaster » Thu Jan 08, 2015 6:22 pm

So I have this pH meter and storage solution. I poured some in the cap like the directions say. I have also stores it upright in a cup to prevent leaking (is that necessary?) I have this crusty stuff that leaks out. I wipe it off and it is back the next day.
Opinions?

You just need a few drops in the cap on the side of the probe. There should be a small circular section that the probe sits in when the cap is on. That is where you need to add the drops so the probe stays wet while in storage. It usually works better if you store the meter upright so the fluid stays in the cap.

As I said, you only need a few drops in the cap...
