Kegging root beer

Post by Jam095 » Thu Oct 16, 2014 9:00 pm

For those of you who make root beer, do I need to dedicate a keg to it? I know it's nearly impossible to get the smell out of the plastic bottles commercial root beer comes in, but is that an issue with stainless?

I did. It seems to linger on the rubber seals.

It's pretty hard to get the smell out but not impossible. I do not dedicate a keg to root beer but probably would if I had more kegs.
