Had this on tap last night at Gerst. Only 14 days old.

Very nice, crazy hop aroma, definitely a sipper

Brick Store Pub in Decatur, GA:

Saison Dupont, followed by a Gulden Draak, followed by a St. Bernardus 12.

Glad I wasn't driving.

Yes, same place, just... technically it's in downtown Decatur, and being from there originally, I'm a bit more specific. Unfortunately, I had to stop at three!

I went in there one time and they had 6 Belgian xmas ales on tap over 10%. It was 11 am when I got there. I hardly ever see my buddy down there and so was a bit headachey from the night before. The bartender pulled out about a half gallon sized bottle of asprin and poured me a xmas. I always leave there regretting the ones that got away...

Picked up 2 bottles of the New Albanian Hoptimus from the new kwik liquor on north green river. Delicious! Wish I could get my hands on some more Oaktimus!

Hopslam on cask last night at the Gerst. Seemed smoother than regular Hopslam and easier drinking too. Hop aroma was subdued. There will probably be some left for Friday night. Oberon on tap as well. Tastes like a summer beer should.

Bloomington Craft Beer Festival. Too many beers to recall them all. :D

Beers of note:
Evil Czech Russian Imperial Stout
3 Floyds Rabbid Rabbit saison
La Chouffe Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel
Bare Hands Thai PA - if I remember correctly, Citra hops, with lemongrass, Thai ginger, and some other ingredients - tasted like a spring roll. Wow.

Did a mini brewery tour yesterday near Carbondale. Von Jakob, Little Egypt, Big Muddy, and Scratch. Of them all Big Muddy and Scratch made it worth the trip. Scratch even has some very unique beers all that we tried were very good. Check out the website.
