ZOO BREW Sign-ups

Post by Dutch » Fri May 13, 2011 8:30 am

I wanted to get a short jump on the Zoo Brew June 11th
I am this event coordinator.
Help is needed in the following categories:
1. Pre-set up [at Turoni's to lead equip [4:30PM] [need only 3]
I have truck and trailer
2. Set up at the Zoo 5:00 PM [4-5 additional]
3. Beer providers + Name and approximately how much [corny or bottles]
4. Servers
5. Tear down [I figure we can use the MASSES!]
Event is 7-10PM
We will be located just to the left inside the main gate behind the gift shop.
Wear Your Orange OVHA Shirts
Any questions just holler
Thanks in advance

I'll have the porter I just brewed in a corny. I could easily bring another corny if it's needed, but usually we have too many.

I can be there around 6pm.

I will be there setup to tear-down, but I don't think I will be able to serve due to having an Employee Permit without the required Server's training.

I will bring kegs:
Uber Amber (German-American Amber)
Don's Big Turkey Hefe
Watermelon Wheat
Jack Rabbit Stout (coffee-whiskey)

I also have a keg of the Club Bourbon-barrel Olde Ale if we want to serve it.....I say keep it for later or save it for ourselves.

Quick question. Do OVHA members need to buy a ticket if we're helping with set-up, serving, etc.? I assume spouses/significant others that are just going for fun need to buy tickets, but wanted to confirm if we also needed to buy them.

Last year, OVHA members and their affiliates working the event did not have to buy tickets. However, if your main squeeze is just attending the event as my wife intends to do, I think you would by a ticket.
